We, at www.Aluminator.com go to great lengths to make our products the way they will work best. We do not design our products so they are easier to make at the expense of speed and operation.
The Aluminator mag holders are a 'no-compromise' design. They will fit any magazine and they can be adjusted to suit any angle above horizontal. They can be changed from right handed to left handed shooters in a matter of seconds by replacing a single screw.
It will fit any belt size up to 2" wide and almost 1/4" thick and even weighs in less than almost all other mag holders except the floppy nylon stuff. Tough anodizing helps protect them from scratches and wear and tear so they look as good after the match as they did before it.
The dual spring method of holding the magazines into the frame is not just clever, it is unique. It applies great positive pressure and maintains a very firm grip on the magazine. Even so, as soon as you begin to remove the mag it will slip out so easily you will be amazed how it manages to stay in there at all. Just another example of our approach to function first, everything else second.
As with the Aluminator holster, the mag holders are hard anodized but available only in Black. Another great feature of the Aluminator mag holders is the ability to swap from having the bullets facing across your body to having them face forward for a more natural line into the waiting gun.
This is an instant decision option that can be made any time you want. Simply grip the magazine and turn it the way you want it to face. The entire retaining system moves with the magazine and you are ready to give the nod for the buzzer to start.
